ChipMOS'S LENDERS WAIVE CERTAIN PENALTIESHsinchu, Taiwan, February 11, 2010 – ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES (Bermuda) LTD. ("ChipMOS" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: IMOS) today announced that it has obtained the approval from Majority Lenders of the US$74.5 million syndication loan agreement executed in July 2008 to waive certain penalties that otherwise may have been imposed on the Company in year 2008 and 2009. ChipMOS thanks its lenders for their continued support as the Company continues to successfully execute on its business in a healthier semiconductor environment, while further improving its financial structure.
