ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES Schedules Third Quarter 2004 Results Conference CallHsinchu, Taiwan, October 25, 2004 - ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES (Bermuda) LTD. ("ChipMOS" or "the Company") (Nasdaq: IMOS) today announced that it will hold a conference call with investors and analysts at 7:00PM EST on November 10 in New York to discuss financial results for the Company's third quarter 2004 and its outlook for the fourth quarter.

The Company currently expects revenue for the third quarter ended September 30, 2004 to be approximately US$116 million, with net income of approximately US$0.17 per diluted share. The Company currently expects revenue for the fourth quarter ending December 31, 2004 to be approximately flat to up 3 percent sequentially compared to the third quarter of 2004.
